Kulaba fort located about a kilometer from the shores of Alibaug is one of the major sightseeing options in Alibaug. It is open all through the year and ASI charges a nominal token entry fee for visit to fort.
Birla Mandir
12 Kms from Nagaon on the Alibaug-Roha route near Salav village is the beautiful Birla Mandir. Built atop a hillock Birla mandir has Ganesha as the main diety.
Value for money, the place is peaceful scenic and amazing. Well maintained. Food is also good. Good for family. Beach is at 10-15 walking distance. I think the only thing they can improve upon is the quality of chapati rest all is perfect. The owners are pretty cordial and helpful. I had a great time.
